Here is a cabin that Jan grained and decorated. As well as the graining itself, and of course the "Roses and Castles" note also the extra little details such as the spider rose on the "soap 'ole" door and other brown brushed edgings. |

Here is another view of the same cabin - the kingfisher
on the table cupboard was by particular request as opposed
to the more traditional castle.
The stool is another of Jan's works - unfortunately it is
not very clear in this picture.

Not narrowboat decoration but... a milking stool top - leaving as much of the wood grain visible as possible (this will enhance further as time goes on - this was freshly turned) and still retaining the owner's name and the family dogs! |
