Sold by BWB in 1960s. ELK had a mooring alongside the towpath at Higher Poynton in the early 1960's and operated by Manchester YMCA. Fully converted and painted battleship grey she was known informally as the "YM Destroyer". She carried canoes on the roof and was used by local school YMCA groups. After becoming disused and sinking, it is believed she was resued by a former YMCA member). (JP 2014)
